• Dean of the Computer Sciences School in three different periods (2001-2004 / 2007-2010 and 2014-2018)
• Academic Vice president of the UNLP between 2010 and 2014.
• President of the Scientific Research Commission of the province of Buenos Aires. January 2016-January 2017.
• Head of III-LIDI (Institute of Research in Computer Sciences LIDI) since its creation in 1984 at the school of Exact Sciences, UNLP.

• He has run and worked in Technology Transfer proyects since 1973 at  the Schools of Engineering, Exact Sciences and Computer Sciences with numerous private and state companies
• He currently coordinates technology transfer and technology consultancy from the III-LIDI.
